MY LOVE LE SPILLE

The brooch is unique among jewelry that, for its versatility, can give new life to a suit, a white shirt or a scarf.
The position of the brooch is very important, because it draws the eyes of those in front of us. Requires a certain skill and a certain degree of taste geometric. An ideal place for a brooch is obviously the lapel of a coat or a jacket, but also on the shoulder of an evening dress, a brooch alone makes the look.
The brooch is also a useful bijoux. Closes a neckline and a scarf. In ancient times the brooch was used to hook robes and cloaks both male and female. As a result, almost cyclically, it never stopped being pinned everywhere, despite it had seen its greatest splendor as a jewel in the era of Art Nouveau.
Over the years, the brooch has assumed the most different forms: flowers, animals, but also abstract or geometric shapes. The bright colors, eye-catching and sometimes exaggerated shapes, materials in which it was made ranging from gold to plastic, from the wool to feathers and rhinestones, everything contributes to make it more unique.
Some part of the jewelry brooches is true works of art, sculptures in miniature.
The brooch in high fashion has always had a prominent place getting the success when women and famous icons of fashion and costume jewelry used it to confirm their originality and elegance. An example of all was Jacqueline Kennedy.
There are pins with a great history and protagonists of great loves. The brooch is a jewel that continues to shine in fashion, with or without diamonds.
Today brooches are routinely pinned on shoes, handbags and belts or take on a different meaning, when used to restore symbols and slogans, as it is the case of the metal "pins".
Do not forget about the grandmother's brooch, the one she wore on the beloved suit during the holidays, which is a sweet memory and it might be useful to keep ready in the drawer, because ... sooner or later come back to the scene!
What you see in this article are brooches brought from a dear friend, found in the drawer of an old aunt. They are very beautiful and charming, because the aunt was a well-known beautician in Milan, single, and fashion addicted (you have no idea how many clothes and trinkets she had in his closet!). And often her customers, most and least known women in the world of show business, made her beautiful gifts. Between what she has bought over the years, and gifts of her customers, the aunt has accumulated a true treasure.
